Telemus Capital Partners, LLC has established the Telemus Global Endowment Strategy to enable institutional and high net worth investors to invest in a globally diversified investment portfolio constructed similarly to the leading university endowment funds such as those managed by Yale, Stanford and Harvard.

Telemus Global Endowment Strategy
We designed the Telemus Global Endowment Strategy to produce absolute returns under most market conditions. Like the leading university endowment funds it is broadly diversified and includes exposure to five main categories:
- Global Equities – long only investing in global equities with a benchmark of the MSCI All Country World Index
- Global Fixed Income – opportunistic investing in global fixed income with a benchmark of the Lehman Bros. Global Aggregate Index
- Real Return Assets – diversified exposure to non-correlated investment strategies that offer inflation protection with a benchmark of CPI plus 250 basis points
- Absolute Return – multi strategy approach to generate absolute return as measured by LIBOR plus 400 basis points and the HRFX Absolute Return Index
- Private Capital – investing in leveraged buyout funds, distressed debt funds and venture capital/growth capital funds with a benchmark of LIBOR plus 750 basis points

Investment Options
The Telemus Global Endowment Strategy can be utilized thru two different approaches:
- An externally managed private vehicle made up of one private investment fund that encompasses the five main asset class categories of the strategy by investing in other private investment funds.
- An internally managed public/private strategy made up of a combination of separately managed accounts, mutual funds, ETFs, hedge funds and private investments.
